Having represented plaintiffs and defendants on various personal injury matters, Terria has insight into the inner workings of the developments, strategies, and negotiations needed in litigation from inception to completion.  She builds and maintains strong relationships with clients by keeping them apprised of their case progression to ensure effective communication, productivity, and cost-efficient litigation.  Terria’s practice areas are general civil litigation (including personal injury), casualty and insurance defense, premises liability, and wrongful death.

For the first part of her legal career, Terria represented clients in both state and federal courts in personal injury, medical malpractice, business litigation, labor and employment, and education cases as a trial attorney.  However, she has recently shifted her practice from representing plaintiffs to the defense of civil cases, primarily in the area of personal injury.  Having spent time as both a plaintiff and defense lawyer, Terria has gained a better knowledge of the complexity of litigation cases.  She has obtained an insight into the development in the pre-litigation and litigation phases of a case.  Terria has obtained numerous settlements from both sides of the docket.  Additionally, she has served as lead counsel and second chair in several cases involving personal injury matters.  Most recently, Terria served as lead counsel in an uninsured/underinsured motorist case in Bexar County where she successfully obtained a jury verdict for her client.

Terria has built her practice on providing her clients with legal services that are customized to their individual needs.  She recognizes that effective communication, understanding, and building strong relationships are necessary to evaluate each of her client’s cases on an individual basis.

Terria obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University.  She attended Western Michigan University Thomas M Cooley Law School for her juris doctor.  When she is not working at Bush Ramirez, Terria spends time volunteering within the community.
