Since 2009, Julie has effectively represented numerous clients in litigation in federal and state courts in Texas.

Julie’s current practice focuses primarily on personal injury and premises liability defense for national retailers and multi-family housing complexes. She also represents clients in pharmacy malpractice claims, catastrophe claims, and bad faith insurance litigation matters. Julie is an experienced and knowledgeable litigator committed to providing personalized attention to every aspect of her clients’ legal needs, with a focus on cost-efficient dispute resolution.

Julie received her law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law, where she served on the Law Review. She was also a member of the school’s National Entertainment Law Moot Court team, where her brief concerning copyright infringement was awarded Best Respondent’s Brief and Highest Scoring Brief, and her team won the National tournament.

  • Successfully second-chaired a federal pharmacy malpractice case, obtaining a defense verdict, where pharmacy was accused of failing to fill a prescription drug order.
  • Obtained a summary judgment in a pharmacy malpractice case, arguing that Texas CPRC Section 74.351, which Plaintiff failed to comply with, is applicable in federal court, thereby terminating the case.
  • Obtained multiple summary judgments in premises liability cases, arguing that the retailer did not have actual or constructive notice of the condition at issue.
  • Obtained dismissal of criminal charges for “assault by contact,” a Class C misdemeanor, of a retail associate accused of inappropriately touching a customer.
  • Obtained multiple rulings in favor of retailers in probable cause hearings, in which retailers were accused of improperly towing Plaintiff’s vehicles from the retailer’s premises.
