Prior to joining the team at Bush and Ramirez, Hee Jin was a litigation attorney at a prestigious Houston employment and family law firm. Hee Jin transitioned her trial advocacy skills to defend multi-national retailers.
As a law student at the University of Houston Law Center, Hee Jin was the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Commercial and Consumer Law and handled cases for underprivileged clients as a student-attorney in the Civil and Immigration Law Clinic.
Prior to law school, Hee Jin earned her master’s degree in International and Domestic Policy Development from Georgetown University, McCourt School of Public Policy in Washington DC. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas, where she excelled and earned coveted awards both academically and athletically.
No stranger to hard work, in addition to her academic credentials, Hee Jin was a six-time All-American swimmer and member of the Korean Olympic Team. Hee Jin competed in four events in the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games as the youngest athlete representing South Korea. In the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Hee Jin broke two Korean national records in the 50m and 100m freestyle.
During her free time, Hee Jin enjoys volunteering with the Junior League of Houston, or going on long runs with her husband and her dog, Daisy.
