About Zach
Overview
Zach Crow is a trial and transactional lawyer representing businesses and individuals in complex disputes, high-stakes litigation, and the transactions that surround them. After a recent jury trial, a witness Zach cross-examined described him as “the guy I’d call if I ever got sued.”
Since 2021, Zach has handled matters at every stage of litigation—from pre-suit strategy through trial, appeal, and judgment enforcement. He has obtained favorable results for both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial disputes at trial, and has successfully defended verdicts on appeal.
Zach also advises clients on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance, particularly in highly regulated industries such as cannabis and hemp. His combined litigation and transactional practice allows him to spot problems early, and litigate them effectively when necessary.
Outside of work, Zach enjoys spending time with friends and family (including his and his wife’s three dogs: Butters, Gunner, and Mud), playing Grateful Dead tunes at Dan Electro’s Tuesday night open jam, and being outside whenever possible—preferably chasing hogs in the East Texas woods at night.
Experience
Zach began his career as an associate and later junior partner at a boutique cannabis M&A and commercial litigation firm in Denver, Colorado. After relocating to Houston in 2024, he joined Hoover Slovacek LLP as an associate before moving to Bush & Ramirez.
